Today we left very early morning, around 5 am so we can reach the Iranian border on time. This again was a fantastically beautiful drive as we saw the sunrise and some beautiful scenic locations. We reached the Turkish-Iranian border at around 10 am.
We were surprised to see a literal 2-3 miles queue of lorries at the Turkish-Iranian border.
This again was an ordeal trying to cross the border and it literally took us the whole day to clear the Turkish-Iranian border. On arrival in Iran we were welcomed by the Iranian charity IUUU.
We cleared the border late and we decided to stay at a hotel near the border as there were 2 Ambulances broken down and they were taken to the local mechanics.
The drive was very good but the time spent at the border was annoying but I guess it takes time to sort out paperwork of 25ish Ambulances.
