So 19th April 2013 was the actual day of departure. We had a great departure ceremony with presence of some celebrities. We saw our Ambulances for the first time and had some minor issues fixed.
We left in style with media presence but unfortunately were not organised. We were allocated groups but we all just left randomly and drove off straight to the motorway M1 with just one important instruction 'follow the Ambulance in front'.
We however later stopped at a service station and we were grouped. Our group was the best. I am sure DELTA Group members would agree. We later drove into EuroStar and reached France in 35 minutes. Then we drove through Belgium and reached our destination. However, it was dark so we barely saw Belgium. All in all it was a good day and not very tiring either.
