This morning we actually left at 5 am and the Levies were on time too. We did however had local drivers drive from now as the road condition from now on were poor and because of the security concerns. The local drivers were proper Pakistani truck drivers who knew the location of every single pothole and they drove like maniacs. We drove the Ambulances with care throughout the trip, much more than our personal cars and it just didn't feel good the way they drove the Ambulances. I guess the road did require this sort of driving.

It was beautiful driving through the deserts and dry mountains of Balochistan. It felt so bad looking at the deprivation of Balochistan. I mean I only saw all mud-houses that were just one roomed. There was however a proper mansion in between those mud-houses which belonged to a local politician. I just hope the new Government could focus on Balochistan.

Today was also driving through one of the most dangerous area in the world.

We reached Quetta Airport and took a flight to Islamabad.

The local drivers then drove to the Custom office in Quetta, got minor issues fixed with the vehicles and then drove straight to Islamabad.

We landed in Islamabad and stayed at Margalla Hill Hotel which was fantastic........

Secure Dalbandin camp where we stayed - one wall was missing...lol

Oops, someone is racing in a desert....
